Chapter 14

Clay

My body feels like it’s made of squishy marshmallows, and my brain is pleasantly quiet when I wake up. I wiggle against the large body spooned around me and let out a happy sigh.

I don’t know what’s going on with Max, but last night was unbelievable.

My dick shifts against my stomach, already hard and getting harder at the memory of Max’s hands and mouth all over me last night.

I shift and end up with Max’s monstrous cock wedged between my ass cheeks.

A sleepy moan vibrates in his chest and makes my balls tingle.

In the past ten years, I’ve been too focused on finding a man I’m compatible with in bed to worry too much about finding a man who’s my type. But Max is all that and then some. He’s pure, unfiltered masculine energy. He’s all hair, sweat, and rough hands.

And the way he took care of me last night? I shiver at the memory. He was a little unsure of himself at first, but once he got going with binding me, I could tell he liked it as much as I did. Every time he looked at me tied up and spread out for him, he let out a little moan. I’m not even sure he realized he was doing it, but it was hot as fuck.

“Good morning,” Max rasps in a sleep rough voice, his lips brushing against the back of my neck.

“Morning,” I reply breathlessly.

“What do we have here?” Max asks playfully as he palms my erection through the sheets.

“We generally call that morning wood, big guy.”

“You call it morning wood, I call it breakfast.”

“Jesus,” I whimper, grinding into his hand. “Weren’t you straight like five minutes ago?”

“Apparently not so much.” Max chuckles as he nibbles my throat.

As much as I want to just leave it at that and enjoy what his hand is now doing, I know I need to make sure he’s not feeling weird about anything that’s happened.

“Max,” I gasp. “Hold on a second.”

His hand stills.

“Did I do something wrong?”

“Hell no, you’re incredible. I just want to make sure you’re okay. I know we were just joking about it, but you were straight like five minutes ago.”

“I don’t think I was though,” Max argues. “I think I have been in denial about my attraction to you for a long time.”

My breath catches, and I have the urge to pinch myself. This can’t be real. God, Beck is going to have so many I told you sos ready for me.

“So, do you think you’re bi?”

I feel Max shrug against my back.

“I don’t know; I guess so. I’ve been wrestling with it in my head for two weeks, and I don’t have an answer. But maybe it doesn’t need a label. Once you put a label on something, there are all these expectations. I know I’m really into you. Does there need to be more of an explanation than that?”

“No, that’s enough for me. But what does that mean for us? Are we dating?” I ask as I run my fingers up and down the arm Max still has wrapped around me.
